We are working hard to put this together. We are shooting for a release in q4 of 2025
Our intial launch will be on Steam, console releases will follow.
The game is being remade from the groud up in Unreal Engine. The technology that CastleMiner Z was built on is outdated. The rewrite will allow us to continue to make updates and bring the game to other platforms. The game is somewhere between a remake and a sequel. A grahpics overhaul with several added features and improvements.
The game will be a completely new product it is a compelete remake of the game.
Currently there is a team of 4 of us. We are the orginal developers of the game. By a stroke of luck we were all able to get back together again and bring this to you.
We are currently taking registration for the beta release. Signing up gives you a chance to be in the Beta.
We are planning a Kickstarter campaign. When we launch that we will need your help. You can sign up to be notified on launch.
We are streaming all the develolpment on our youtube channel. Drop by and check out our live streams and videos.
We would love to hear your ideas the best place for this is our steam community forums. Drop by and let us know what you and check out our live streams and videos.
Yes! We love your contributions and we would like to see them visit the steam community forums. And let us know how you think you could help
Our fans have maintained their own discord server for years now. Although not our server it is a large community that has supported the game and made all of this possible, we visit there regularly.
CastleMiner's home is on the Xbox and we will do everything possible to make this happen. The Xbox requires approval from Microsoft to make it there. We have not completed that process yet.
I would love to bring the game to Playstatio, unreal makes this easier. The situation is the same as Xbox Sony needs to allow this. Our success on steam would make this easier.
No. The Avatar system does not work the same way as before and obviously does not work on other platforms. We will ship with a standard character and add a character customization system post release if the game is well received.
We are still early in the development. Too early to know if this is possible.
We would like to support this as much as possible, but we need more information from the Mod community how to best support you. Drop by the steam community forum and let us know how we can do this for you.
